Using StayFi with your Ruckus Access Points

I use Ruckus hardware in my properties. How do I set up StayFi in my existing devices?

StayFi can be used with any Ruckus access points, as long as they are compatible with Ruckus Virtual SmartZone Controller. Most popular Ruckus devices fall in this category.

To set it up, simply follow these steps:

  1. Create a StayFi account
  2. Set up your StayFi account
  3. Share your Ruckus Virtual SmartZone Controller credentials with us
  4. Assign your Access Points to your Properties in StayFi

2. Set up your StayFi account

To set up you StayFi account, follow steps 1, 3, 4 and 5 from these instructions.

3. Share your Ruckus Virtual SmartZone Controller credentials with us

We need to access your Ruckus Virtual SmartZone Controller to configure guest portal settings.

Complete this secure form to share your access credentials with out team. We will adopt your devices and reach back to you when they have been added to you StayFi account.

Make you have created a StayFi account (step 1 on these instructions) before submitting this form.

4. Assign your Access Points to your Properties in StayFi

    Once you have heard back from our team, you need to assign each Access Point to their corresponding property.

    Assigning the correct access point to the correct property keeps shows the correct Splash Page and HomePage to each guest, your guest data organized, and makes solving WiFi issues a breeze.

    Assigning access points to properties

    1. Navigate to the Access Points page on the left side of the screen. At the top of the page, you will see all unassigned access points associated with your account.
    2. Unassigned access points can be identified by the Mac Address, which is also printed on the bottom of the access point.
    3. Select the property each access point should be assigned to in the dropdown on the right hand side and click Assign.

    Tip: Plugging in an access point will change its status from "Disconnected" to "Connected". This is an easy way to figure out which access point you're working with.
