How to fix slow internet speeds on the guest network.
StayFi's service is based on your home's network speed. If your internet service is slow this may be an underlying issue with your Internet Service Provider (ISP).When you install our access point, it broadcasts a new guest wifi network at the property using your current internet connection. The internet connection will be the same (StayFi doesn’t slow it down) but the hardware that is broadcasting the wifi will be different. If reception is slow in parts of your property that are far from the access point, consider upgrading to a stronger access point or adding a second access point for full coverage.
If the guest network is running slowly compared to your original home network, try restarting the router that the access point is connected to and try again after a few minutes.
