Disabling your StayFi Express
If your StayFi Express isn’t working, follow these steps for an emergency fix. When you disable StayFi Express, your guest WiFi will keep working (internet access continues), but the StayFi Splash Page and guest data collection will stop.
If your mesh network is acting up and you need to get guest WiFi back online fast, disabling your StayFi Express device is a quick workaround. Disabling will bypass StayFi’s Splash Page and data collection and revert your network to direct guest access.
Before you go this route, reach out to our team — we might be able to fix things without disabling. Just email support@stayfi.com. Only use this solution in case of emergency.
Disabling your StayFi Express does not pause billing.
To stop billing for a StayFi Express device, log in to your StayFi account, go to the Access Points page and unassign and deactivate the device.
