Can I use an existing access point with StayFi?

I already have a Unifi access point. Can I use it with StayFi or do I have to purchase another one through StayFi?

If your devices are brand new or were set up using only the UniFi mobile app (meaning they are in "standalone mode" without a central controller), you will need to schedule an adoption call with our team so we can properly configure them for data collection. You will need to have physical access to your Access Points and a router during this meeting.

If your network is already managed by a UniFi Controller (UniFi Dream Machine (UDM), UniFi Dream Router (UDR), UniFi Express, Cloud Gateway, Cloud Key or a self-hosted controller) please refer to this guide to integrate with StayFi.

In either case, please set up your StayFi account before proceeding with the integration by following the steps outlined here.
